Quentin Tarantino’s ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD visits 1969 Los Angeles, where everything is changing, as TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) make their way around an industry they hardly recognize anymore. The ninth film from the writer-director features a large ensemble cast and multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age.

I thought they said that Margot Robbie only had one line of dialogue?

      1. Eli Kronen

Love how Quentin takes/borrows from classic movie scenes. Some may call it stealing but the way he does it is masterful.

      1. darryl nelson

Margot Robbie pool shot is obviously the Marilyn Monroe scene from Somethings gotta give w/Dean Martin. Quentin must have a Dean Martin thing goin on with this film. COUNT ME IN!!

    5. darryl nelson

there's no way that this will be bad. Can't wait to see it.

    6. wowJhil

At some scenes Brad Pitt look sooo much like Robert Redford :D

      1. Charles De Rosas

        I think that was intentional.

    7. Akash Akks

Margot Robbie is just perfect for Sharon tate!!!

    10. Sunzu49

Confession: When Tarantino talked about this film, saying "It's not Manson, it's 1969," I had a small bit of hope that he would be adapting the novel, Sway: mainly because it has storylines told out-of-order, just like his signature formula! But, this looks like it'll be entertaining as well.

    11. Sunzu49

This better pull an Inglorious Basterds and change historical facts (also kinda like Bad Times at El Royale) - or else, what is even the point?

      1. Eli Kronen

@Sunzu49. From what I've read it's not like Bad Times at all but QT does not follow historical accuracy in relation to the plot of this film at all. It's drastically different.

    12. Martin Noer

movie looks dope. wonder who plays bruce lee

      1. Eli Kronen

        @Martin Noer. Mike Moh.

    13. Solo Lay

Me: Brat Pitt and Leo sure I'll watch it. Movie: Here watch this Bruce Lee scene Me: Take my fucking money.

    14. HardcoreJesus100

Yes, Tarantino, is a huge fan of Sergio Leon, but who isn’t? Did I see a glimpse of Bruce Lee? Lol I wonder if we’ll see a Pedo Polanski portrayed in this film? Scumbag

      1. Eli Kronen

@HardcoreJesus100. *Leone. Yes. That was Bruce Lee. Polanski is in the trailer as well.

    15. StayStrong1990

Thank you Tarantino for having DiCaprio & Brad to finally be in a movie together! Al Pacino & Kurt Russell too?! Great cast!

    20. Lance Irons

What song is at the beginning?

    21. Craig Braelow

How come DiCaprio and Pitt never made a movie together before this Tarantino masterpiece

      1. Eli Kronen

@Craig Braelow. You are correct. I thought you might have seen it because you referred to it as a masterpiece.

      2. Craig Braelow

@Eli Kronen it's not out yet I think it comes out in July

      3. Eli Kronen

@Craig Braelow. You've seen this movie?

    22. ApplePie.

      Oh may gowd..cant wait

    23. iproxephos

For some reason I’ve got a feeling this is gonna be a Charles Manson movie. Half way through the film it’s gonna take a dark twist like in dusk till dawn

      1. Eli Kronen

@iproxephos. All the reviews say that he's in it for less than a minute.

    24. Miroslav Šťástka

    25. ASimoneau

You know you're a fantastic director when, after you release the trailer, nobody has the slightest clue what the movie is really about, and everyone wants to see it anyway.

      1. Eli Kronen

@ASimoneau. You do know then. It's about an actor on the back nine and about him having a midlife crisis. Tate moves in next door to him. That's over 90% of the film. I agree that it's not clear how every character fits into the film. According to all the reviews Manson is in it for less than a minute.

      2. ASimoneau

@Eli Kronen Not me. I know it's about an actor struggling on the back-nine of his career, and Bruce Lee, Charles Manson and Sharon Tate fit into it somehow. Beyond that, I haven't the first idea what the story's supposed to be. I'm not even knocking it, really. When it comes out, I'll be there with bells on. I simply call BS on anyone who claims they can discern the film's premise just from watching the trailer.

      3. Eli Kronen

@ASimoneau. I think it's very clear what this movie is about.

ONCE UPON A TIME >>>> There were 2 dead brain pretty boys names DeCaprio and Pitt with no acting skills who were fawned upon by gay unrequited lover producers, both truly dull real-life personalities who were pushed on us until they learned to finally act 20 years and a dozen movies later they are now sparkling like bottle of Pellegrino left open for a week....Welcome to the Wood

      1. Eli Kronen

@Steve Evans. You don't think What's Eating Gilbert Grape and 12 Monkeys required talent?

      2. Steve Evans

        @Eli Kronen Hollywood 'winks'

      3. Eli Kronen

@Steve Evans. Right on. I'm from San Francisco. You?

      4. Steve Evans

@Eli Kronen No, I am from California we say it differently. .....cheers

Charlie's gonna love you. I guess in a helter-skelterish way anyway.

    37. Ghita El Alaoui

      Can’t wait.

    38. Alexander Torro

Where's Samuel L.Jackson? Isn't he the black guy in movies...least of all..a Tarantino movie?

      1. Eli Kronen

@Alexander Torro. QT didn't secure SLJ because SLJ had already been under contract with Marvel Studios. He was busy filming a movie for them as well as the new Shaft, which he was also under contract for. When an actor negotiates with a studio to be in a film, he/she does not negotiate with the director. Their agent negotiates with the studio. Also the actor is legally obligated to appear in films the actor is already under contract for.

      2. Eli Kronen

@Alexander Torro. I brought up my legal experience, so you could understand that I have some professional knowledge about contracts. It matters but when I say it doesn't matter, what I'm saying is that even if I didn't, common sense should be enough for you to understand why Jackson was busy filming other projects during the filming of Once Upon a Time.

      3. Eli Kronen

@Alexander Torro. You came back to a novel? I wrote four paragraphs in response to your last response, which was eight paragraphs. You're starting to lose even more credibility.

      4. Alexander Torro

@Eli Kronen here .. you mentioned..i also know other movies he was in..so couldn't shoot on this film.. Yes.. I get that..he cant spread himself everywhere... Only.. It's not my point.. Question..is "Why didn't Tarrantino secure Jackson foe this picture?

      5. Alexander Torro

@Eli Kronen wow.. I came back to a novel..you said so much..i don't know where to begin.. When you mentioned you used to work in the legal field and said it doesn't matter.. Why bring it up as a point then? And im not assuming anything..

    39. Scipio Burton

I’m hea fa da Manson fam 🤷🏿‍♂️

    40. Wakandanwarrior

I really hope the Manson family is a big part of this movie

      1. Eli Kronen

@Wakandanwarrior. It seems like mainly the last 30 minutes. The rest not so much. Except Manson himself. He's in it for less than a minute.

    41. Some random guy from the beyond

welp since this is a Tarantino film who is going to die brutally?

      1. Lance Irons

Some random guy from the beyond ummm, did you not notice Sharon Tate’s character. Wild guess but it’s probably her.

    42. Jane Rodr

Leonardo DiCaprio wow he's well 🤢

    43. cance7984

Thank you for not summarizing the whole movie.

    44. keto Rai

    47. Peter Pedro

      Look very self indulgent

    48. moh amine

so is there a chance we see charles vs bruce in this flick ?

      1. Eli Kronen

@moh amine. No. Manson is in it for less than a minute.

    49. JaySw34

DiCaprio's first role since The Revenant! I'm there!!

    50. I'm Georgy

      Is that my boyfriend?

    51. A' Le

    54. Eli Kronen

At the end of the film Rick becomes the leader of the Manson Family?

    55. L T

Bruce lees in it? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 im in

    56. Genio Del Queso

It’d be really cool if the WWII part was a movie based on QT’s Inglorious Bastards and it was also called inglorious bastards.

    57. Jose Ruiz

Is this shot in 70 millimeter?

      1. Eli Kronen

        @Jose Ruiz. No

    62. Jakob K.

I still want a sci fi movie from Tarantino

      1. Eli Kronen

        @Jakob K. Sounds like it's coming next.

    63. Will Herondale

0:45 in case you couldn't tell it was a Tarantino film

    64. tauntonlake

Changing the video speed up to 2x is friggen' hilarious. Cannot stop laughing. 😂😂😂

    65. Street Skolla

Rick, Cliff & Bruce Lee kill the Manson family after they kidnap Shannon Tate and Cliff dies in the process. Some asshole spolied it for me online so I gotta take yall down with me.

      1. Eli Kronen

@Street Skolla. I think Tate survives. Apparently her last appearance is over an intercom. We don't see her.

      2. Eli Kronen

@Street Skolla. I don't know anything for sure as I have not seen it but I've come across multiple reports. As far as the stuff you read, did you get any more details about the ending? Did anyone mention a film the Manson Family was making with hostages?

      3. Eli Kronen

@Street Skolla. No doubt. I thought that was obvious. In real life Rick Dalton and Cliff Booth didn't exist. James Stacey, Wayne Maunder, Steve McQueen, Bruce Lee, and a fictional actor and his fictional stunt double certainly didn't kill all of the Manson Family minus Charles in real life.

      4. Street Skolla

@Eli Kronen its a movie not a documentry

      5. Eli Kronen

@Street Skolla. Bruce Lee was employed by Polanski to train him. They met through Jay Sebring, who was also being trained by Lee. Bruce Lee trained Tate for the film the Wrecking Crew. Lee training Sebring and Tate is shown in this film. I think calling Lee and Tate friends is a bit of a stretch though.

    66. Matt Krause

Margeret Qually's feet on the dash. Yep this is a Tarantino film.

      1. Taylor of House Targaryen

        My exact thoughts

    67. Radford Healsworth

      Yes Please!

    68. Angelina martinez

seems so terrible. Another overrated movie by tarantino

      1. tauntonlake

Shows more imagination than a lot of the other crap that's out there today. His movies are all eye candy, and for a lot of us in our 40's and 50's - pure nostalgia ... . Just for reference .. what movies do you think are "great"?

      2. Eli Kronen

        @Angelina martinez. How so?

    69. Kaio -Sama

I see Tarantino's weird foot fetish is still alive and well.

    70. Kate O

Brad Pitt has officially turned into Robert Redford.

    71. Son Of Borat

At 2:05 glad to see Luke perry in one last movie

    72. Ray Segura

        But its Tarantino ☹

    73. Martha Morgan-Silva

      1. Eli Kronen

@Tomás Obs. Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show by Neil Diamond.

    79. VincentVega111

We are in 2019 and we still must wait 1 year to view a movie. If we consider first rumors of a new movie, first images taken on the set, and the official release we reach even 2 years. Add release date late in different countries caused by translation we get 2 and half years.....It's time to change, when a movie is released it is released worldwide. Customers should have the freedom to view it in a cinema, in his house (rent or buying dvd-bray), on his smartphone.....everywhere. All this wait is really boring.

    80. Jarrett Mazza

0:48 I think that's Steve "Clem" Grogan that Booth is punching.

    81. kj

I like it when the entertainment industry take a break from the usual superhero/cgi movies and make some throwback prevs generation kinda movies👏👏👏and w some sophisticated line of casts👏👏👏

    82. Wayne Beauford

This cast is so diverse i cant wait to see this movie smh not

      1. Eli Kronen

@Wayne Beauford. Yes. That's exactly why Django mostly had a black cast.

      2. Eli Kronen

@Wayne Beauford. Of this film? I know the cast is mostly white. I don't disagree with that. I like to watch things based on there substance and quality is all I was saying. Look at who the cast is playing. Almost all real people who were white. A black Steve McQueen and Charles Manson may be interesting but I don't think it would make any sense. Also diversity doesn't only mean racial diversity.

      3. Wayne Beauford

@Eli Kronen django had a mostly blk cast cuz white people werent slaves in the usa

      4. Wayne Beauford

I know i was being sarcastic

      5. Wayne Beauford

@Eli Kronen cmon man the whole cast is white except for one or two i seen the cast sheet

    83. TheGreatDimebag

Ah man, when Tarantino’s trailer is better than most movies!

    84. tauntonlake

0:30 Leo looks like young Kurt Russell in Escape from New York. Coincidence? yeah, probably not.. 😃

      1. Eli Kronen

@tauntonlake. I did miss that. Now I see it. You're right. That's crazy. Way to pay attention to detail!

      2. tauntonlake

@Eli Kronen Maybe you missed the 0:30 at the beginning of my comment. That means, pause it at that scene. I was mainly talking about the profile and the eye patch resembling him in profile, reminded me of Kurt, who also happens to be in this. That's all.

      3. Eli Kronen

@tauntonlake. Just without the long hair, eye patch, black trench coat, and facial hair?

    85. Hina Rashdi

i see spahn ranch and cielo drive, im like hmm i know the angle coming up, then sharon tate and the family

    86. Arjun Sekhar

From paying homage to his favourite movies to paying homage to his own movies, Tarantino has come a long way.

    87. FG Hollow

One man this movie is missing! Christoph Waltz!

    88. Henry D. Sakhel

I already want to watch this movie again.

      1. Eli Kronen

        @Henry D. Sakhel. You've seen it?

    89. Scott Fletcher

    90. T-Bone

They filmed a lot of the scenes right around the corner from my Apt. on Hollywood Boulevard...👍😎👍

    91. WorldsWorstBoy

    92. Diego Pisfil

    94. E.T fan 1

Really want to see this but iam fucking 15

    95. N MM

I cant wait to see it!

    96. Pandas are cool

My prediction of how the movie ends is how I really hope the movie happens. Similar to inglorious bastards how they kill Hitler, Leo and Brad go after and kill Manson.

      1. Eli Kronen

@Pandas are cool. Manson is in it for less than a minute. Multiple reviews have stated that for weeks.

    97. Dean P. Wells

      Looks great!

    98. Fiery

      2nd to the last movie ; - ;

    99. MrRonaldorealmadrid
